Embedding Multiple Media Players on your Webpage

There are many ways to embed media players, and generally, you would embed the player for one video and the user would hit play to start the video.  And sometimes, you may set the video to start automatically upon entering the webpage.  But this should be avoided (IMO).

There are also methods for playing multiple videos on one embedded player.  If you are using all the same file types, below are some methods:

Embedding Windows Media Player on your Webpage - Using Javascript

Embedding Multiple YouTube Videos Using a Video Select List

However, if you want to play different file formats on one page, you can do it using inline frames.  Each link below references a separate html file that contains the embedded player, and opens in the frame.  The "Cancel Video" references the "Start Page" and opens it into the frame.

Flash - Video Made with DVD Video Soft

The flash video was made with DVDVideoSoft.com, which is a free program.  You can get it here.

The only issue is that this program generates multiple files for one video, and you need to keep all of them, including the flv file itself, in a separate folder by themselves.  There is a unique xml file and it contains the video parameters, and this is where you can change the autoplay feature.
